Karmin grew up in Albany, Oregon, but has lived all over the world at this point in her life. She always writes stories, books, poems, even recipes on things that she holds near and dear to her heart. Her writing is raw and real and there is true emotion behind her words. Karmin writes both fiction and non-fiction novels, but the way that she writes her fiction books leaves you wondering if there is more to the story than what she has very bluntly said. She likes to leave people wondering and guessing, as everything is a lesson that is meant to be learned through time. Time is the greatest mystery of all. That, "Ah-ha!" moment is what she likes to see when people realize the depth of her writing. She enjoys writing non-fiction novels as well, as she feels that sharing peoples stories is a truly beautiful way to share the human experience in a humbled way. Everyone goes through hardships, therefore, it is so courageous when someone is willing to share their story. Karmin is currently working on a few other non-fiction projects - that of her own, as well as those of people she knows. Karmin is a mother, an adventurer, a joy seeker, and a US Marine Corps Veteran. She keeps her faith at the forefront of her mind, and puts all of her passion into her writing. Karmin is a humbled individual who has experienced a lot throughout her years - some would even call her an "old soul". She has said that sometimes going through the tough times in life, and being able to write about it makes it worth while. Knowing that someone, somewhere will pick up a copy of her book and vicariously learn through her mistakes, troubles and successes is what she aims for. Her first book published is Red March (fictional novel, based on real events), which released on April 30, 2020 and the e-book released on May 1, 2020! Through My Eyes (non-fiction) was released on September 22, 2020. You Are Safe, You Are Loved (children's book) was released on April 5, 2022. Not Afraid to Die (fictional novel, based on real events) was published on July 14, 2022. Black December is scheduled for release on December 28, 2022! Karmin spends her weekends reading, exploring, hiking, photographing, and spending time with her family. Karmin is passionate about spreading love and knowledge, and empowering those who she encounters. She loves coffee, coffee, and more coffee!
