Mark Sexton is an American author that grew up in Aurora, Ohio in the 70’s. Mark moved to Orlando, Florida after high school where he met and married his wife, Sharon. In 1980, they moved to the New Orleans area where Mark began a thirty-five-year career in Program Management as a Planner in the U.S. Human Space Exploration Program. Mark’s career included working on the Space Shuttle Program, the X-33 Program and the Orion Spacecraft Program. Mark received the NASA “Silver Snoopy Award” from Astronaut Robert Cabana in 1996. Mark is a professional musician and recording engineer. Mark has been performing with live bands and collaborating worldwide with other singer song writers. Mark and his wife Sharon, are retired and live in Melbourne Florida.
