Marleen Julien is a Haitian Creole specialist with more than 15 years of experience. Her dedication to promoting the Haitian language and culture has allowed her to build a trusted reputation as a language advocate. In 2004, Marleen founded Creole Solutions to provide translation services and support to organizations that serve Haitian communities and ensure that she leverages every possible tool available to promote her native tongue. During her free time, she writes short stories that promote literacy and critical thinking amongst children in Haiti's remote areas. In nearly everything that she does, Marleen focuses on ensuring that Haitians have the resources they need to promote their development. In 2022, she published her first Haitian Creole Book, Nan Jaden Amoni. It is a collection of fables translated and adapted into the Haitian language and culture.
