Linda Norton is a teacher who enjoys writing in her spare time. She lives in Cheshire with her husband and two children. As a child Linda was inspired by the novels of Richard Adams, most notably Plague Dogs and has written two stories aimed at children both with animals as their central characters. The first is based around her love of cats and is called 'Monty's Leap of Faith' following the life of Linda's own cat who is a very special member of her family, particularly as he has to share his life with cats and kittens which Linda fosters for the local branch of the RSPCA. The second book, 'Keeto's Journey' follows the lives of a group of mountain gorillas. Having being a member of the World Wide Fund for Nature for many years Linda is concerned how we continue to erode the habitat of wild animals and endanger species.
