Nadine Holland is a children's author and secondary school art teacher with an obsession for children's books and illustrations. She lives in Gloucestershire surrounded by ancient forests and magical hills with her husband, daughter, three silly rescue cats and a dog with giant ears. Nadine studied Fine Art at University and became an art teacher but she always wanted to be a writer, however it wasn't until her daughter was born that she realised that she wanted to be a children's author and so she began to write in earnest. 'Kiko and the Coralline Crest' is Nadine's debut picture book and was inspired by her mother who suffered from agoraphobia, anxiety and panic attacks when Nadine was young. However, despite these difficulties, her mother still had big goals that she wanted to work towards and did so in small steps, achieving them bit by bit. 'Hallie and the Broken Ghost' is Nadine's debut Middle Grade novel, which was inspired by her love for the paranormal, moving across the country as a child and her difficulties with developing new friendships.
