Nick Benas grew up in Guilford, Connecticut. He is a die-hard Los Angeles Dodgers fan but is also known to root for the Boston Red Sox during their matchups against the New York Yankees. A pizza aficionado, Nick recommends Wooster Street in New Haven, CT, home to Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana, The Spot, and Sally's Apizza, for the best pizza in the world. A former United States Marine Sergeant and Iraq Combat Veteran, Nick holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon-Do and is a Green Belt Instructor in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. He earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology and an M.S. in Public Policy from Southern Connecticut State University. Nick's business success and entrepreneurship have been featured in over 50 major media outlets, including Entrepreneur Magazine, Men's Health, ABC, FOX, ESPN, and CNBC. His passion lies in writing and serving Veterans.
