Nicola Cook is a UK based entrepreneur, although her businesses and interests are varied and diverse. When pressed, she describes herself as an Entrepreneur, Investor, Author, Sales Growth Accelerator, Wife, Mother and Bassett Hound lover, and finds the suitably vague title of Chief Opportunity Officer just about covers it. She’s invited to speak internationally and published her first works, A New You (first edition) in 2008 and The Secrets of Success in Selling in 2009. Collectively they’ve been translated into thirteen languages, and have acquired fans all around the globe and she published the 15year anniversary edition of A New You in Spring 2023. She's currently working on six new non-fiction books, all focused on enabling ambitious entrepreneurs build a scaleable and profitable 'Sales Engine for Growth'. An area of business growth her consultancy, Company Shortcuts — the UK's leading kickass sales acceleration agency — has spent the last two decades enabling Scale-up businesses successfully achieve.
