Nicola Pesce (born 1984) lives in a forest, reads books and chops wood. In love with the slow pace of life and small things, he actively works every day to spread kindness and love of culture. Through his social media profiles, he organizes numerous cultural initiatives. For example, he donated thousands of books to schools, libraries, and book-crossing points. Shortly before turning sixteen, he founded his publishing house, Edizioni NPE, becoming the youngest publisher in history. His success as a writer came in 2021, with the bestselling novel La volpe che amava i libri (The Fox Who Loved Books), in which he created the characters Aliosha, Musoritz, and Ptiza. He loves to write at night, the old-fashioned way, with a pen and an old notebook, by candlelight, in the silence of his forest.
