I’ve had a passion for empowering people for as long as I can remember. I have worked in the medical field, as a yoga teacher, and as a mentor in many capacities prior to my work as a coach and author. I currently work with individuals, entrepreneurs, teachers, leaders, and organizations who have a desire to exceed themselves and to tap into the limitless potential that awaits those courageous enough to seek it. After surviving an abusive marriage, a second divorce, and witnessing the unfolding of what would become a devastating heroin addiction in my son, I knew that I needed guidance. I took a leap, scraped up every penny I had, and went to a week-long intensive training with world-renowned Yoga Teacher and New York Times bestselling author, Baron Baptiste in 2010. After immersing myself in deeply moving work that totally transformed my body, mind, and spirit I was inspired to help others experience the freedom that I gained access to. I have continued to train with Baptiste Yoga since that first experience and have made it my life’s work to contribute to the betterment of the human experience. Always a student and an avid learner, I have been privileged to attend many leadership development programs and be mentored by some of the world's greatest minds in leadership development. In 2016 I graduated as a certified Strategic Intervention Coach and my career quickly expanded beyond the yoga mat and out into the world. I have created thriving yoga communities throughout western Canada and am the owner of Shift Power Yoga, the founder, and CEO of Shift Coaching and Leadership Inc. I own and operate a successful and highly rated yoga teacher training school that focuses on leadership development and has trained hundreds of powerful leaders who are making a difference on the planet. I live my dream life in the beautiful Okanagan on an acreage with my husband, my three goats, and two dogs. I have beautiful relationships with my four adult children and live each day with a full heart. I write to serve. Stay tuned for what's next.
