Randy Foster is a sixth-generation Mississippian, where he lives with his wife, children, and dog. He holds a Masters of Counseling from Mississippi College, and has worked in the field of mental health of over two decades. During that time he has worked as a recreation therapist, a counselor, a forensic psychologist, a safety director, a unit director and served as the Director of the Office of Incident Management for the MS Department of Mental Health. He enjoys fishing, golfing, reading, watching his Saints get so close to the big one every year, and of course writing -- always writing. Although he has traveled far and wide Mississippi will always be his home, and he will always be a child of the South.
