Richard Weninger is a writer and long-time traveler. Mexico is his present country of residency, where he bases himself in the mountains of Queretaro. Before dedicating himself to journalistic endeavours, Richard acquired an eclectic diversity of work experience that culminated in a career with the Canadian Coast Guard. Starting from humble beginnings as a Diver and Rescue Specialist within the Hovercraft Unit, he worked his way up to be the Foreman of the C.C.G. Rigging Shop. When not writing, exploring, cycling or helping out stray dogs, he loves spending time with his wife and their Chihuahua Paco. Richard also likes to describe himself as a self-taught master in the little-known field of observing floating coconuts.
