Beyond resetting my life, repeatedly, I know how to up-level it so that it feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside. I know what the mismatch of how your life looks and what is really going on behind the scenes is. It makes me an insightful coach and therapist and I use this self-awareness to share my story. I know that something deep inside me combined with the sages I've met in my life plus my background in writing/PR and understanding people have led to me being a highly relatable author and the creation of my award-winning books, popular broadcasts, and insightful columns on wellbeing topics. I fuse empathy and 'having walked in your shoes' (or hidden behind the glittering mask that you may have in front of you presently) with a track record in not only transformative coaching and therapy but also business and entrepreneurial success and an ability to come back, repeatedly, from the worst that life can throw at a person. From humble beginnings growing up above my parent's shop and a comprehensive school education I made it to University and then the new career of PR in London in the 80s, working for Ab Fab Lynne Franks PR, with showbiz and Royalty before creating an award-winning PR Company of my own. Leaving the trappings of success as a self-made 40 year old millionaire I moved to the Bahamas. Then my life imploded. Cancer, hurricanes, family issues, financial loss, loss of identity, eating disorders later, I returned to the UK a single unemployed mother with no home or identity. I had to reinvent myself and it wasn't easy especially as divorce, bereavement, and depression followed. And reset my life I did. Repeatedly. Drawing on my early formative years, grounded perspective and work with the leading personal development gurus in the World. A second divorce and desire to move on after being Head of Marketing for an International charity later and I was invited to train in therapy. Fast forward to now, as an Award-Winning Coach & Therapist who understands what hanging on by your fingers when you are living life in the fast lane looks and feels like. My therapy and books are the perfect places for my transferable skills, life experiences and more. I'm able to communicate on the triggers that upset emotional wellbeing in an easy to understand way. My first book Reset! won an award in its first week of publication. People who find it and read it LOVE it as is the culmination of all of this, often brutal, experience and also my unabated positive outlook. It strikes a chord as it comes from a place of vulnerability and hard found experience coupled with therapeutic expertise.
