The Man, The Myth, The Accountant Firstly, let's address the elephant in the room—yes, I am a Chartered Accountant. Now, hold your gasps and collective eye-rolls. I can hear you thinking, "An accountant? Writing poetry and novels? Is this a sitcom?" Well, if my life were a sitcom, it would be called 'Spreadsheets & Sonnets,' and yes, I'd be the quirky lead who can balance both your budget and a haiku. Don't let the pocket protector fool you; there's a soul behind those numbers. Born and raised in India, I soaked up the subcontinent's rich tapestry of culture, wisdom, and endless summers until the age of 27. Then I swapped curries for crumpets and moved to London after tying the knot. I've been living with the infamous British rain and winds ever since. Not that it's much more interesting than the back of a shampoo bottle, but hey, different strokes for different folks. Ironically, despite writing an entire book, I am as private as a cat who's just spotted a cucumber. Unveiling my life here is an aberration, kind of like seeing a vegan in a steakhouse. I have super spiritual parents who might as well have 'aum' as their middle names, a loving wife who tolerates my occasional poetic outbursts, and a son who thankfully hasn't entered the teenage angst phase—yet.
