Scott Feuless was born in Massachusetts in 1960, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and is the father of two extraordinary boys. Following his initial work as a Project Engineer, he began working in IT as a self-taught programmer and rose to the level of Chief Technology Officer at one of the country's hottest high-tech startups. The company was a publicly traded Application Service Provider, a model now commonly referred to as Software as a Service (SaaS), one of the most popular forms of cloud computing. Scott followed that by spending 15 years at one of the world’s leading benchmarking and sourcing advisory firms, advising the world’s largest organizations on how to improve performance. Over the course of his career, he's had the opportunity to travel extensively on five continents, read many books, converse with many fascinating people and think quite a lot about how everything works. He left the corporate world in 2015 and wrote his first book, "The Cloud Service Evaluation Handbook." Since then, he has spent most of his days thinking about systems and looking for ways to help make the world a better place.
