Sean O'Brien is a children's book author. He served as speechwriter to Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, special assistant to President Barack Obama, as well as senior advisor to the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Navy, and several Members of Congress. He has also performed and written comedy with Chicago's Second City and Annoyance theaters, as well as the DC Fringe Festival. He teaches at Georgetown University and lives in Washington, DC with his family, who helped inspire his debut novel, "White House Clubhouse".
