Sharon Mason was born an entrepreneur. She grew up watching her Dad go from rags to riches as a realtor, broker and land developer, and by osmosis, absorbed many lessons and attitudes that years later supported her many successes. She became an honour student, a graduate of the University of Victoria, a member of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, performing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and the late Price Phillip all in her younger years. Later on she took on the roles of Teacher, Wife, Mother, Homemaker, Marathon Runner, Counsellor and now a published author. All this diverse experience helped paved the way for what was to come. Sharon became a realtor in 1984 thinking that an extra $20,000 a year would make a huge difference to her family. Little did she know that embracing a journey of hard work, perseverance and personal growth would make her a superstar and a better person. Sharon quickly became a member of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board 's prestigious Medallion Club and Realty World's top designations - " Star Salesmaster" and "Master Associate". In fact, she maintained her spot in the top 100 agents among 18,000 Realty World realtors in North America for a decade. Many people speak of her as a Real Estate Legend. As Sharon's practice grew, the new and repeat business and referrals came pouring in. The goal of $20,000 per year had become a distant memory. `` I never dreamed I would be able to help so many people and make a such difference and change our finances so much!`` These days Sharon loves to help her clients experience a level of care and service second to none and says that her goal is to make each transaction a "work of art" and as low stress as possible for buyers and sellers. She works with her daughter, Justine, a recently licensed realtor and her husband of 45 years, Al Mason, their administrator who is humourously known far and wide and their `` Chauffeur``. Sharon is delighted to share her insights, experiences and wisdom along with her sense of humour and story-telling genius in this long awaited volume. She says, "It's part of my legacy and I am grateful beyond words to share what I can with my readers, my community and my family. Especially my beloved children, Justine and Jason Priestley and my grandchildren, Ava and Dashiell Priestley." She also wants to express her gratitude to her son, Jason Priestley, for penning the foreword for her book. Sharon lives in Cloverdale, British Columbia, with her husband and love of her life , Al Mason.
