Shawn Burcham is the Founder & CEO of PFSbrands. What started as a small business out of his home with his wife Julie in 1998, has now grown into a powerhouse with over 160 employee-owners across 18 states, all thanks to Shawn's vision and tenacity. Under his leadership, PFSbrands has become the go-to for branded foodservice locations, boasting over 1,900 locations across 39 states. And their Champs Chicken franchise brand, which started in 1999, has taken the food industry by storm. But that's not all - their portfolio includes bluTaco and Hangar 54 as franchise brands, as well as Hot Mex Express and Wingman Pizza as licensed programs. In addition to these offerings, they also create private label food programs for many of their customers. Before starting PFSbrands, Shawn spent 5 years with a Fortune 100 company, where he honed his skills and pioneered sales training programs. But it was his entrepreneurial spirit that led him to take a major risk in quitting his job and starting his own business. Since then, he has started and grown over 10 businesses, while also investing in others where he believes he can make a difference. Shawn's secret to success lies in empowering employees to think and act like owners. He truly cares about his team and provides them with opportunities to excel, which has translated into double-digit growth for 25 years. He has a no-nonsense, straight-talk approach, and believes that all leaders need to CARE, HAVE FUN, and HOLD PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE TO HIGH EXPECTATIONS. But what really sets Shawn apart is his passion for helping others become more successful, both in work & in life. He has a non-entitlement mentality and a drive to make a difference.
