Teresa Michael is the award-winning author of the Mariposa Care Mystery series. A full-time author since retiring from a career in healthcare, Teresa enjoys reading, writing, good food and wine, a tart margarita, and loves travel adventures with family and friends. She has visited forty-nine states, having spent nine years on the road working for a healthcare software vendor. She was the Team Manager of the U.S. Archery team for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, and other international tournaments.. Teresa is the current Secretary and a past president of Florida Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime and a member of the Florida chapter of Mystery Writers of America. She lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband and is busy working on the next Mariposa Café mystery, creating a new series, and hopes to someday visit that fiftieth state.
