Terry Anzur wrote "Inventing TV News: Live and Local in Los Angeles" when she was co-anchor of KTLA News at Ten and a full-time faculty member at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She holds an AB in Communication from Stanford University and was a Benton Fellow at the University of Chicago. Her on-air experience includes a national talk show on the America’s Talking network and reporter/anchor positions with CBS stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and West Palm Beach. She reported from Washington DC for the NBC-owned stations. She also anchored and reported in Houston, Miami, Charleston WV, and Providence RI. She is a member of the credentials committee for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. She is the co-author of “Power Performance: Multimedia Storytelling for Journalism and Public Relations,” a textbook for TV and online journalists.
