All the proceeds from his books provide mental health services for those in most need, removing the many barriers to receiving them. Since its launch in 2005, Shield Bearer Counseling Centers, a Christian-based nonprofit in Houston, has been a ray of hope for individuals and families seeking professional mental health services. Shield Bearer is focused on making counseling accessible, offering diverse services, support groups, and workshops for fostering healing and transformation. Shield Bearer's mission is to elevate lives through compassionate care and education. Thad's personal life reflects his devotion to family and faith. He and Jamie, best friends and married since 1999, homeschool their five cherished children. Their journey underscores the power of building strong connections and nurturing a supportive home environment.
