Thomas and Carrie are counselors, authors, and fellow parents of neurodiverse children. Their passion for helping children through life’s challenges has led them to writing books on subjects including teen resilience, children with ADHD and adults with neurological disorders. Carrie’s whole life, she has found joy reaching children who have developmental challenges. Now, using her own experiences as an education counselor and researcher, she has become a compassionate and dedicated writer with the goal of improving the lives of others. Thomas has learned to thrive with ADHD, even working his way through college to earn an undergraduate in Computer Information Systems. He has a successful career with the federal government and has developed a love for training others in IT and Cybersecurity. But Thomas’s real passion is to share his own unique challenges growing up with a neurological disorder. His testimony has had a profound impact on many people’s lives as he shares his experiences and advice with others. Together they found they both had a heartfelt desire to reach children and parents alike and enable them to live fulfilled lives. Rather than positioning themselves as experts in the field, their writings touch others by breaking down complex topics into manageable, practical and actionable advice. Their love of helping others overcome sometimes seemingly insurmountable obstacles has driven them to put all of their combined works into books to share this advice with anyone and everyone who needs it.
