Tim Ritter was born in Springfield, Missouri, the third of four children in a blue collar family. "I first dreamed of being a writer when I was nine years old, realizing that expressing myself on paper was as much a part of me as my swollen tonsils. Over the years the desire to write has yielded poems, stage productions, books, technical articles, speeches and my own comic strip. And somewhere along the way I discovered I liked it when I spoke into a microphone and people listened." With four published books and several writing projects underway, Tim has become a highly sought featured speaker, with many entertaining and informative presentations. Tim Ritter resides near Fair Grove, Missouri, with his wife Lisa on their wooded property which they affectionately (and laughingly) call Frog Acres. When not tending to his home or traveling with Lisa, he can be found spending time with his sons and grandson, researching old railroads with his father-in-law, or meandering through an antique store.
