Tom (Thomas) Pecore Weso is author of Native American Stories for Kids, a children's book, and _Good Seeds: A Menominee Indian Food Memoir_ (Wisconsin Historical Society Press), published under Thomas Pecore Weso, which was a National Gourmand Award winner for Historical Recipes and finalist for the International Gourmand Award. Weso, an enrolled Menominee Nation citizen, has a master’s and a bachelor’s degrees from the University of Kansas in social sciences. His grandparents and family taught him many stories and traditions as he was growing up in Wisconsin. He is an artist and illustrated book covers, including Glamour by Jonathan Holden (Mammoth). He taught at Haskell Indian Nations University and other college in the Kansas City area. He has presented lectures, storytelling, and workshops throughout the Midwest. He recently moved to Sonoma County, California. He is available for Zoom appearances and classes. See his website tomweso.com for contact information.
