Historia
When my son, Zachary, experienced a spiritual attack on his mind, no earthly help could be found. I cried out to God to make it stop. As days turned to months, I became offended. Our enemy often attacks with whispers like, “God says he’s Healer. Restorer. Provider. But where is he now?” He casts doubt on God’s true identity, in an attempt to confuse our identity, and steal our destiny. But things aren’t always as they appear. God provided a simple yet profound strategy, leading to complete healing. This is our raw testimony.

A must-read to fight Satan's spiritual attacks.
Revisado: 02-20-25
I’m intimately familiar with the fierce, often invisible, spiritual attacks that target our children and us. That’s why this impactful and thought-provoking book was a challenging yet necessary read. My son fought his own spiritual battles and ultimately paid with his life when God allowed a single bullet to kill him instantly.
Even if you are a Christian, like my son, we are all susceptible to Satan’s influence. That’s when we must relinquish control to God’s strength and unwavering presence. I wish that could have been my son, but it was not. At least I know Luke is in Heaven, at peace, and I will see him again one day.
This book offers a wealth of biblical wisdom and verses to help you face your battles. Once I started listening to this captivating audiobook, I couldn’t stop, so I stayed up late into the night. I loved seeing how God can turn ashes into beauty, and I highly recommend Don’t Cheat the Butterfly. I’ll frequently reference the bonus PDF; its contents are key to recognizing the difference between my flawed human perception of myself and the truth of my eternal existence as God’s child.

Healing past hurts.

This inspirational romance was a great read and I loved listening to the audiobook as Simone needed to learn to pray, let go, and let God. I love this and all of Jane Daly’s uplifting Christian books.

A cruise, holding a koala, & 2 years in Australia.
Revisado: 10-03-24
This incredible story chronicling Liz’s thrilling journey from England to Australia captivated me, and my bucket list now includes the exhilarating experiences of exploring different countries from Liz’s journey to Oz. But what did Liz want most in Australia? To see a roo in the wild. No spoilers here, but on my 2024 trip Down Under, I got to hold a koala, see a field of roos, and feed a kangaroo, so I was hoping Liz would succeed. Like me, Liz saw many fires throughout the country—they were scary, and safety was on both of our minds. If you’ve ever wanted to visit Australia, this is a splendid book, and if you love audiobooks, S. Bavey did a fantastic job recording it.

Entertaining.

I loved listening to this audiobook about a love triangle where the characters are honorable. Seeing people put others first rather than just looking out for themselves was refreshing.

Historia
It began in a women's club in London on a February afternoon. A discreet advertisement in The Times, addressed to "Those who Appreciate Wistaria and Sunshine..." lures four very different women away from the dismal British weather to San Salvatore, a castle high above a bay on the sunny Italian Riviera. There, the Mediterranean spirit stirs the souls of Mrs Arbuthnot, Mrs Wilkins, Lady Caroline Dester, and Mrs Fisher, and remarkable changes occur.

Outstanding characters.
Revisado: 08-05-24
This book had wonderful characters, and I truly loved it, although I had a hard time keeping track of who was who since there were four ladies vacationing together, and each went by numerous names: first, last, nicknames, titles, etc. I got quite confused, but I still thoroughly enjoyed listening to this fabulous book written by Elizabeth von Arnim.

Historia
In 1927, South Africa passes the Immorality Act, prohibiting sexual intercourse between “Europeans” (white people) and “natives” (Black people). Those who break the draconian new law face imprisonment—for men of up to five years; for women, four years. Abram and his wife Alisa have their share of marital problems, but they also have a comfortable life in South Africa with their two young girls. But then the Act is passed. Alisa is black, and their two children are now evidence of their involvement in a union that has been criminalized by the state.

Tragic
Revisado: 10-16-23
This multi-generational thoughtful book full of entertaining stories and tragedy took me a while to get immersed, but I did by the end. Later, I had thoughts about the lives of those mentioned throughout Scatterlings.
