Revisado: 06-20-20
I have been following Ben Hardy related to his work on environmental Psychology from his early days on Medium.com. I admire the persistence he placed on his future self to overcome the challenges he has endured over the years. This second book helps me realize how much we as humans can learn to appreciate our past, stay super focused in our present moment and gather the tools to develop the future self we can fully realize. I remember growing up as a introvert and over time and life wisdom I now understand that integrating all perspectives of personality types related to their contextual environments, allow me to travel on the road to my best self. Thanks Ben! You have truly been an inspiration for me. Looking forward to your next book!!

I certainly promote the ethical commission boards decision to implement International safety guidelines before technology becomes executive decision ready! We are the creators of this beauty and art! Let us as humans install the beauty within our biological existence so we can move toward homosentience.

We rely on willpower to create change in our lives...but what if we're thinking about it all wrong? In Willpower Doesn't Work, Benjamin Hardy explains that willpower is nothing more than a dangerous fad—one that is bound to lead to failure. Instead of "white-knuckling" your way to change, you need to instead alter your surroundings to support your goals. This book shows you how.

On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

Debilitating brain disorders are on the rise - from children diagnosed with autism and ADHD to adults developing dementia at younger ages than ever before. But a medical revolution is underway that can solve this problem: Astonishing new research is revealing that the health of your brain is, to an extraordinary degree, dictated by the state of your microbiome - the vast population of organisms that live in your body and outnumber your own cells 10 to one.

When I think about that partnership between microbes and the humans brain. It almost seems like we’ve given delegating rights to the microbes without our conscious consent. I feel that the introspective review and creation highlights our current understanding. CRISPR-CAS9 and new microbiotic controls governing the genetic expression of neuronal tissue and sub components called vSLENDR. Thanks for pioneers like yourself lending the way to a brighter future!

Historia
Most of us would agree that there’s a clear—and even obvious—connection between the things we believe and the way we behave. But what if our actions are driven not by our conscious values and beliefs but by hidden motivations we’re not even aware of? The “hidden brain” is Shankar Vedantam’s shorthand for a host of brain functions, emotional responses, and cognitive processes that happen outside our conscious awareness but have a decisive effect on how we behave.

How does the brain generate a conscious thought? And why does so much of our knowledge remain unconscious? Thanks to clever psychological and brain-imaging experiments, scientists are closer to cracking this mystery than ever before. In this lively book, Stanislas Dehaene describes the pioneering work his lab and the labs of other cognitive neuroscientists worldwide have accomplished in defining, testing, and explaining the brain events behind a conscious state.

Historia
The science of emotion is in the midst of a revolution on par with the discovery of relativity in physics and natural selection in biology. Leading the charge is psychologist and neuroscientist Lisa Feldman Barrett, whose research overturns the long-standing belief that emotions are automatic, universal, and hardwired in different brain regions. Instead, Barrett shows, we construct each instance of emotion through a unique interplay of brain, body, and culture.

Historia
The Human Superorganism makes a sweeping, paradigm-shifting argument. It demolishes two fundamental beliefs that have blinkered all medical thinking until very recently: 1) humans are better off as pure organisms free of foreign microbes; and 2) the human genome is the key to future medical advances. The microorganisms that we have sought to eliminate have been there for centuries, supporting our ancestors.
