Good read, but spends more time in muggle world than i had hoped.

Narration is great, except for one expert who is consulted and laughs at absolutely everything she says??? Content is also very interesting but gives more insight to muggle history than it does to the world of JK rowling. So, sort of disappointing if thats what you were hoping for. No firsthand accounts of Dumbedores duel with Grindelwald, or any of Flemels experiments with creating the stone. Hope there is another one that will.

i always like this podcast but im disappointed that audible seems to stop adding new episodes after 2022? science friday is a news staple for many.

Not as much new information and in between the scenes snippets as I had hoped but very enjoyable and really loved that it was read in part by Luna. She has a voice full of joy and wonder. maybe we will get more later?

recording has annoying skips in it.

i love this book and the narration is great, but there are annoying skips where several words or even a sentence are missing? this is the first time i have had trouble with the quality of an audible recording.....so disappointing and i suppose i will have to return it.....hey audible, please fix!

good firefly story

its a little off putting that the female narrator is not so good as the usual guy, and she sort of yells in an overdone accent so you end up turning down volume until the more softspoken awesome guy comes back. but if you dont let that bother you its still firefly goodness.

i do wish the sound production had noticed that when the singing or yelling sort of parts are up of course mr serkis voice would be louder and just toned that back a bit.....but i can turn down my volume too....it is a lovely rendition of in my opinion the best story ever told.

bit disappointing towards the end of the series

I enjoy the narrator and the first few books as much as the netflix series.....but then it became strangely unsatisfying toward the close and there is no sense of anything having finished or even having a point. If you are hoping for a deeper understanding of the Witcher's world, or for some sense of closure at the end.....its just not there. Kinda fun but Im headed back to Tolkien where I belong.
