If the church were quicker to comfort than to condemn, quicker to heal rather than harm, quicker to love than to hate, disparage, or ignore, perhaps it would be a greater source of inspiration, strength, and change in people's lives—and in the world. If so, it would be, in effect, more like Christ.

Though I didn't agree with everything, it made me think.
I think the most important thing about a book concerning Jesus is not what you agree or don't agree with, but does it make you think about and consider your own beliefs. Gray definitely challenged some of my beliefs and I came away from the book encouraged that Jesus is Love, and the author wants us and the church to love others like Jesus did.
