Wonderfully fabulous

Ash, human abdutee, is strong, stubborn, determined woman that enthralled her alien hero until he could no longer allowed himself to be separated from her.
Zeylun, a mercenary warrior/pirate, felt protective of Ash from the moment he met her in a Dominion cell as captives.
Wonderful characters, steamy,,dangerous, adventurous, action filled, sassy human, protective alien, pirates and mercenaries, evil controlling government, and a HEA.


The audio book is done very well. The narrator has a deep soothing voice that captures you as you listen to the story. You can imagine Zetlun voice sounding so deviously deep as the narrator's.

Great series by a great storyteller narrated by a swoon-worthy narrator.

Ashe was abducted by aliens and is on her way to become a slave when Zey is thrown into the same holding cage as hers. They make a deal and plan their escape. What happens next was a very entertaining page-turning adventure. My favorite part was the time they spent in a tent high above the ground surrounded by a canopy of trees. Very romantic. Just don’t look down.

Great story, high on adventure and steam, low on drama and angst. Well developed, likable main characters and supporting characters. The story was creative, the world the author created for Ashe and Zey was vibrant and detailed.

I’ve read all the stories in this series so far. I loved them all. But, I didn’t know what I was missing until I felt like swooning the moment Troy Duran said: “Chapter 1”. What a voice. Perfect narrator for this story. Hope he narrates all of this author’s stories because I plan to get them all.

Zeylum and Ashe

As they navigate dangers, including being stranded on an alien planet and running from space mercenaries, a connection forms between Zeylum and Ashe, and things heat up between the two. Zeylum, who has never considered settling down due to his dangerous lifestyle, finds himself drawn to Ashe's courage and resilience. He begins to see her as more than just a partner in escape; she becomes his mate, a realization that profoundly changes his priorities. Throughout their journey, Ashe and Zeylum confront not only external threats but also internal conflicts as they struggle with cultural differences and personal insecurities. Their relationship deepens under the strain of constant danger, evolving into a powerful alliance that challenges both to reconsider their preconceptions and plans. Hot and steamy alien-human romance with plenty of action and suspense.

Audio: Narrator Troy Duran does a great job with Zeylum and other male voices, and a good job with Ashe's voice - I personally prefer a female narrator is used to voice female voices. The audio quality is good and there were no issues.
