Charmed and addicted to this character

A yearly visit is both satisfying and painful! I hate to hear the last words uttered as much as I am excited for the first words. This book felt different than previous books because there was humor and a deep look at Gabriel as a family man and caretaker of the many people who have come and returned to his life. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend you have a listen. I got absolutely nothing done all day because I was so absorbed by the story.

The author is a brilliant writer. An additional fantastic read/listen to the amazing Gabriel Alon series.
A delight to read about Det Peeples. Always look for him in each book.
Love the way the characters from the past come together, again. All have their own skills to assist.
At the conclusion of this book, Mr. Silvia, makes a powerful message.
So looking forward to his next writing in this series.

Fast-moving story

I love this series! The characters are like old friends, and it’s interesting to read about their newest adventures. I also like the social commentary, which helps to make me more aware of trends and actions that affect our individual and collective lives.

Plot twists

I've read all of Daniel Silva's books and every year I anxiously await his July release. He never disappoints.

As usual, wonderful narration of an exciting Gabriel Allon novel, looking forward to another one.

What a Story!

Silva does it again...weaving a captivating story and fascinating characters around global realities and international relationships. It sounds trite, but I cound not stop listening until the performer spoke his last words.

Getting Tired

Have read every one of these. They have become decreasingly great. While I look forward to each year's newest version, I must admit they now lack the suspense and ingenuity of earlier editions.

I can not begin to say how much I love the Gabriel Alon series. Although this is not the best of the series, it is a lot like visiting a series of friends while on another adventure. I love how so many of the past characters and places are featured in this book. This, and the entire series is smartly written, perfectly paced, and interesting. I get excited when any of these books drop and always enjoy the read. If you are new to the series, go to the first several books and enjoy the evolution of the characters. Although just a minor character, the goat is one of my favorites!
