Narrator

I miss George Guidell as narrator. I came around eventually but it took time to get used to the new voices.

Good not great

While I like the idea of revisiting some of the earlier Rapp timelines, it’s just not the same without George Guidall running the characters. The story was good and it held my attention but if you have Stan Hurley in the story, George has to be the narrator.

As for the start of this new Rapp era, I’m more hopeful than I was with the most recent Rapp books. At least this story made sense for Rapps character and didn’t feel like a video game storyline.

I’m grateful!! Thank you for continuing the series we LOVE!!

Just finished! Well done!!! I like that he went back in the series! It was great to have Stan on the scene again. ✅I also like that the ending gave a glimpse into their personal lives… my vote is a little more of this in the midst of killing the terrorists. It gives a real quality to their beings as a whole. These are the characters we love and feel like we “know”.

Following George Guidall would be the equivalent of singing after Celine Dion…. But Weber did a good job and his voice was not distracting…. As he proceeds with the series, I’ll bet he develops more distinct voices for the main characters. Well done, Steve Weber!

Mitch’s bad ass attitude

Mitch’s hard core mentality and actions are back as the root of the story. I hope it stays that way. Good job by the new author.

Mitch Rapp is back!

Don Bentley has written a novel that would receive Vince Flynn's strong approval. His characterization of Mitch Rapp as a strong, no mess character is a welcome rebound from the tremendously weak character (& storyline) portrayed by the last author. My thanks & appreciation to Don Bentley for bring Mitch back!

Every aspect was perfection

Story lines, narrator timing and voice, ending was great. I think this might have been my favorite of them all!

Rapp is aways good

I liked it all. It takes a little warmup to get used to new authors and voice acting but it is still Mitch Rapp and is done well, worth the money/credit, and I will get the next couple as well and see how they go.

Let’s Go! Love the new edition.

This edition by the new author was billed as “by a fan for the fans” and it delivered! I can’t wait from more from this author. I miss George Guidall and his voice will forever be the voice of all my favorite characters in this series but of the various narrators they’ve tried to replace him with this one did a good job, it was a good listen.

Best Mitch Rapp novel in years!

This was fun and felt like old times. Nostalgic and great story telling. Looking forward to the next one!

took me awhile to

well not a bad book would’ve been better with an explanation that we were going back in time i expected to pick up where left off a lot of time differences
