interesting story

good story, like the concept.
Not thrilled about the narration, ended up running both book 1 and 2 at 1.5x speed.
This is not helped by, what feels like, excessive descriptions of everything.

Such an original and engaging tale

So happy I got to experience both books, especially book 2, which provided some of the most imaginative and exciting ideas about space time, multiple dimensions, community, and creation of places, spaces and characters I’ve rarely enjoyed so much.

It’s tragic that Paul just last month passed away from cancer, after he learned of the diagnosis mere months ago.

He wrote in a Facebook post, back in November or December, that a writer friend had worked with him on the plot and plans for book 3, just in case...

I hope that can happen. This author deserves to be WIDELY read, this series, especially.

Kate Reading did a fine job of narration, engaging me with every character.

I want to see these books jump the boundaries of the inexpensive Kindle book world, and find the audience that will make it a cult favorite. I want to see that popularity create the recognition income for his family that the work deserves.

Highly recommended. Bizarre and fun and almost impossible to stop reading/listening.

Not the best continuation

Am more confused after listening to this book. It has been unnecessarily stretched just to convey little progress from book one. The plot is somewhat muddled as I’d expected more details on the beings who brought them to this new world.
Probably intended to be a build up on the series.
Overall not a very good listen and doesn’t build up on what’s to follow.

Fun journey

I don’t know where we are going but there is some wild stuff in the imagination of PAJ. I like the characters and while there is a fair amount of turnover I have learned to not miss the dead as much as look forward to the new. Besides they may not be dead

Solid follow-up!

I enjoyed the story and performance and look forward to where it might go next. My only issue… and it’s a mild one… is that the lead character gets hysterical frequently, and often at odd times. I find myself thinking …’would ya just shut up and let them finish their sentence’. Some of the occasions are on the story and done on the performance. This is a minor quibble.

fantastic book I definitely recommend reading both

I absolutely love this series and wish there were more wonderful characters interesting storyline twists and turns you would never expect and wonderful characters from our history added into a timeline that nobody could imagine Well somebody imagined it!

Jones is back!

I was sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for this book! I listened nonstop, beginning to end, and I’m mad at myself for doing it!!! Cus now there’s no more until book 3.

Let me just say... WOW. So creative. I’d love to see this as a show on the CW Network or something similar.

I love love love the cast of this series and cannot wait to see how it ends.

It was over quick learned to hate the advesary, along with Meradeth. Looking forward to next book.
