Fun Life Changing Retreat to the Riviera

Jennifer Bohnet has written an engaging, uplifting story that is simply delightful. Positive, life-changing events of the four well developed characters while being treated to the wonders of the Riviera. Insights into French village markets, shops,villas, and gardens, along with the sights and boulevards of Cannes, Antibes and Monaco. Beautifully written!

Sweet beach read

Perfect little beach read! Very little drama, just a beach vacay in the south of France. Sweet and lovely.

Another sweet listen

I listened to this free book because I liked “villa of sun and secrets”. This story was similar as it is set in a villa in the south of France and the characters are also dealing with life changes; divorce, death, career and aging. Plus the author adds some mystery, which I am sure keeps most interested. Narrator was good as usual.

Awful narration

The narration was bad. She sounds like she has sinus issues, reads in jerky, loud, & disjointed statements. Hard to understand. French accent is horrible and sounds like choking. Could barely understand it. Despite the narration it was a cozy story. I hope there’s a sequel read by a different narrator.

A breezy escape

At the pace of real life, subtle, yet woven with nuanced depth & texture, this story was a delightful listen. Even inspiring an awakening within me to escape to the south of France one day, hopefully sooner than later.

Well written, nice storyline, believable characters, good narration, and ends happily—enjoyed it very much!

Wonderful

This is a wonderful book. Friendship, romance and kindness are all in this book and it is so well written and expressed. Loved it so much.

Enjoyable story with interesting sub- plots

I loved this story and the excellent narration very much. The characters came to life early in the book, and the performance of all the different voices was excellent. Overall GREAT audiobiok!

Happy, Lighthearted and Wonderful

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It provided me with an escape from reality and left a lasting impression. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story and inspiring me to dream of exploring the beautiful country of France.

Great woman’s fiction

Loved this story of three women who start as strangers and end as friends. I feel the author handled the growing friendships with care and reality.
This is a feel good book.
I love the narrator, her voices are well done and very different.
