Alan Gregory is a clinical psychologist with a thriving practice in Boulder, Colorado. Great Story
The story is like a movie to me, only there’s no picture. I love the suspense, thrill, and the imagination James Patterson has. I gave it 5 stars and wish I could give more. I’m ready to listen to another story now!

Pretty OK
It is what it is: not great literature, but typical Ale Cross fare. If you are into Cross, you'll like it. There are t, three serial killers, one with a grudge against our hero and a druggie street urchin who's become part of the family. Both complicate Cross' life. Fast paced; lots of action. The bad guy you really hate is the one who plays a journalist, then becomes a really, really bad dude in the last half hour. Patterson must have a twisted mind. I liked this one enough to peek at #21.

creepy and boring
Would you try another book from James Patterson and/or Michael Boatman and Steven Boyer ?
This is a mystery without any mystery. The serial killers were known from the start, and they were preposterous. The killers were not enough to make a book, so the author told other stories -- a foster daughter's tribulations and an over-the-top reporter trying to get revenge on Cross for a wrong he wrongly blamed on him. None of it worked. I did not finish the book. The narrators were fine, but I would not read Patterson again.
