Jesus said all authority in heaven and on earth had been given to him. He didn’t say all authority in heaven and earth would be given to him at a later date. Jesus was declared the Son with power at his resurrection and his ascension was to a position of ruling authority. Truly, nations are his inheritance and the ends of the earth his possession. Not tomorrow, not sometime in the future but now.
