An Ancient Prophecy. A Giant Quest. A Plethora of Homonyms.
Thirteen-year-old Toby Baxter finds himself in a foul mood, exacerbated by an eight-hour flight and the daunting task of reading "Of Mice and Men" during his vacation. However, his mood and vacation are abruptly interrupted when he is summoned back to the magical land of RiverHome, right in the midst of a giant uprising.
Linked by Prophecy:
Toby is inexplicably connected to his former arch-nemesis, Clygon, through an ancient prophecy. Together, they are tasked with repairing the Sword, the lifeblood of RiverHome. This mission forces the one-time enemies to join forces against rebel giants, trolls, stalagmites, and a primeval snake residing in Para-dies.
A Hero's Journey:
Faced with an impossible challenge, Toby must decide whether to seek the GOOD and embrace his destiny as a hero, or let his foul mood and growing anxieties derail his quest.
