Skill progression

The story is good, maybe movie worthy Idk but I really hates when a MC doesn’t learn from their mistakes. With that being said, he makes less mistakes as the story progresses and it gives you the satisfaction of seeing a scared child growing into a lethal but not OP man.

a great story keeps you guessing and with great action and good character development it really hooks you

A boy who’s a true underdog maintains his faith in the world and finds hope in the dark. So good.

Engaging Story, Wonderful Narrator

I came here bc of Heath Miller’s performance in “He Who Fights With Monsters.” It’s a LitRPG series similar to this, and I highly recommend. If you are likewise here and wondering if this is similar: the story is worth it. I was engaged throughout the story, & loved the characters. It’s more than worth the read! It’s the only book that has scratched a similar itch, and both the author and narrator knock it out of the park. Cannot wait for book 2.

I hate this trending blight on fantasy… but…….. sigh, this was good, story and performance.

Excellent voice acting, distinctive voices, flushed out characters with genuine souls — rotten or not. Writing was… accessible, written without the small poetic flairs found in Lawrence, Sandersons more epic scale works, Rothfuss (he’s on the extreme end of too much), and Jemisin. however, for seventh grade complexity of story, it’s cohesive thread was a smooth follow and swapped PoVs well. There’s so much RR content to ingest, I’m sure the giddiness of the producers have soiled themselves. There’s no nuance here, but it’ll pass the hours.
