It’s week 5 of the 2024-25 UNC Basketball Summer Roster Preview Series. In the first three installments, we discussed the incoming freshmen: James Brown, Ian Jackson, and Drake Powell. Last week we kicked off the sophomores with Zayden High, and we now turn to his classmate, and returning UNC point guard, Elliot Cadeau. After a solid freshman year, but with less than ideal shooting numbers, we expect a big sophomore jump from Cadeau. We expect him to see more minutes and to see better shooting numbers that derive from more confidence and experience. How will Cadeau and reigning ACC Player of the Year RJ Davis build on the connection they began developing last season? Will Cadeau take on a more vocal leadership role?
