    Ven-Allen Lubin from Vanderbilt becomes UNC’s second transfer commit in the lead-up to the 2024-25 season, joining Cade Tyson from Belmont, both of whom have two years of eligibility. Lubin is a frontcourt player, not in the mold of either Armando Bacot or Harrison Ingram, but one who could allow the Tar Heels to operate differently should Coach Hubert Davis choose to do so. What sort of starting lineup with Hubert Davis utilize? Elliot Cadeau and RJ Davis seem locked in at the 1 & 2, but beyond that, there are multiple possibilities. Cade Tyson at the 3 with some combination of Lubin and Jalen Washington or Jae’lyn Withers in the frontcourt? Or what about Tyson at the 4 with Ian Jackson sliding into the starting lineup at 3?     Vanderbilt transfer Ven-Allen Lubin becomes the second player to commit to North Carolina out of the transfer portal for the 2024-25 season, joining Belmont's Cade Tyson. Just like Tyson, Lubin has two years of eligibility remaining. Lubin is an undersized big at 6'8, 230. Will he fit alongside Jalen Washington to be the frontcourt, or would it be one or the other with someone else starting at the 4? Also, are the Tar Heels now done or will they continue to pursue Ugonna Onyenso (Kentucky), Coleman Hawkins (Illinois), or someone else?
