Acerca de esta escucha

From Jim Collins, the most influential business thinker of our era, comes an ambitious upgrade of his classic, Beyond Entrepreneurship, that includes all-new findings and world-changing insights.

What's the roadmap to create a company that not only survives its infancy but thrives, changing the world for decades to come? Nine years before the publication of his epochal best seller Good to Great, Jim Collins and his mentor, Bill Lazier, answered this question in their best-selling book, Beyond Entrepreneurship.

Beyond Entrepreneurship left a definitive mark on the business community, influencing the young pioneers who were, at that time, creating the technology revolution that was birthing in Silicon Valley. Decades later, successive generations of entrepreneurs still turn to the strategies outlined in Beyond Entrepreneurship to answer the most pressing business questions.

BE 2.0 is a new and improved version of the book that Jim Collins and Bill Lazier wrote years ago. In BE 2.0, Jim Collins honors his mentor, Bill Lazier, who passed away in 2005, and reexamines the original text of Beyond Entrepreneurship with his 2020 perspective. The book includes the original text of Beyond Entrepreneurship, as well as four new chapters and 15 new essays. BE 2.0 pulls together the key concepts across Collins' 30 years of research into one integrated framework called The Map.

The result is a singular listening experience, which presents a unified vision of company creation that will fascinate not only Jim's millions of dedicated listeners worldwide, but also introduce a new generation to his remarkable work.

Jim Collin is a great narrator

Jim narrates a portion of the audiobook. He’s great at it! Clear and conversational. Made me look forward to the parts that he narrated the most. Beyond that, the book is a concise and timeless roadmap to building great businesses. I can’t recommend it enough.

Possibly Jim Collins greatest book

If you are the owner or CEO of a small to mid size private organization, this is a must read. This books dives into Vision, Strategy and Execution and connects the dots for you on why each is important and how each can be developed in a systematic manner to bring a successful company that can potentially endure for a hundred years.
This book was originally published in 1992 and has aged extremely well.

A beautiful conclusion to Jim Collins life work

It’s amazing how he continues to evoke and add value to each of his new research projects and books. While this is a reprint of an older book there is easily 50% new refined content that will be worth every listen. A must read for any entrepreneur

Just wonderful

There’s no better set of books for helping managers like myself in turning your company from a normal, good or mediocre into a great enterprise...this is the cherry in the pie that sums up previous Collin’s work. A Must read!!!!

Great For Business & Life

A lot of great insights in this book on leadership, productivity, and self-fulfillment to name just a few categories. The concepts are well-backed with specific research, and can be applied in both business and life. The portions narrated by Jim Collins are excellent, but performance-wise the other narrator is rather dull and I needed to use a higher speed to get through the book.
