Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of Buried Deep and Other Stories by Naomi Novik in exchange for an honest review. This book is a collection of stories including one from the scholarmance and a few with dragons. I really liked the version of Pride and Prejudice with dragons, it seemed to really fit Elizabeth Bennett to fly a dragon.

Each reader did an excellent job with their story. I think my favorite is the retelling of Pride and Prejudice with dragons. Each story has interesting characters and setting. If you’re a fan of Naomi Novik or wanting to see what her worlds are like you can’t go wrong with picking up this book.

Short story Spinning Silver is a gift to anyone who read the book
Short story Spinning Silver goes in a completely different direction than the book, yet no less fitting. Loved it! Also loved Dragons & Decorum, Vici, Seven Years - basically all the stories with satisfying ending. Sorry, my taste is not refined for the open ended ones
