Poignant point for modern times
Eerily so. The story weaves the previous series in via some crazy new fangled plot devices that are well above the simple trope of having the characters relive it in flashbacks, (no spoilers.) The sanity and logic of the reasoning expounded by the author, in a, date I say, believable story, given a few premises we'll just go ahead and overlook, like interdimensional travel, is well done. And, as can always be expected by the narrator, the performance was exceptional!

Fantastic story with an amazing ending
I loved this story and it's conclusion. There are components that seemed out of place, and other components that seemed rushed. But that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the series and both trilogies. highly recommend you give it a listen!

Something is missing
I bought this expecting it to be the complete story only to discover there were stories missing that went in between these books. That’s probably why it felt like there were holes in the stories

Great military sci-fi
I've been listening to Scott's books while working as soon as I can get my ears on them. After Mech Wars and The Ixan Prophacy series I was looking forward to this set reaching Audible and Scott Bartlett and his narrator, Mark Boyet, continue to NOT disappoint. For any fans of Military Sci-fi this is a must listen.
