Loved it!

A creative exotic story of love and innocence.
I highly recommend it escaping into a dream world of fantasy.

Short and sweet and fun

I am a fan of this genre but this is the first book I've read by this author. The h was unlikable at the start and I was concerned that she would be not be redeemable but by the end, I was rooting for her.
This was a very enjoyable novella and I will read more from this author. narration was great and added to the story. I'm sure I'll listen to this again. would recommend for anyone who appreciates books with adult content.

Fun, Quirky, Steamy Why-Choose Rom-Com!!

A fun, steamy why-choose romantic comedy about a shipwrecked heiress on an island with some interesting creatures!

Harper is a stereotypical spoiled, shallow heiress, who's pretty mean to the ship workers. She's a little unlikeable at the beginning. Power through this. This is part of her journey. Her day goes from bad to worse when she finally goes a vacation on her new yacht, and some bad weather causes it to capsize, plus her crew has already left her behind on the only lifeboat. What happens next is a whirlwind of adventure and learning to survive with her newfound companions.
The story is very lightly paranormal, not super detailed and lore-heavy, but nicely light and more go-with-the-flow-type. There's steamy times, single and multi-partner scenes, and nothing really triggering (there's talk of experiments, but nothing detailed).

This is a complete standalone, though if the author wanted to do more stories about Harper and Co, I'd be happy!

I liked the narrator! She differentiated between all the voices quite well and didn't reuse the same "male" voice for each of the different male characters. I listened at 1.15x speed.

omg SO CUTE

Honestly this was a curiosity read—the flamboyant cover and then the premise of capybara shifters had me wondering. It actually turned out to be super cute, sweet and even hot at times, and though it was short, it’s definitely complete. Based on this experience, I’d like to read more from this author.

The narrator was outstanding, I’d actually say the phrase ‘voice actor’ fits better as she performed this book and performed it well. 5 stars.

Fluff, Capybara are awesome animals

Capybara Island was a short and light story. It's pretty fluffy and detached from reality but that makes it a lighthearted read. Harper was highly unlikeable at the beginning of the book but when removed from her usual spoiled environment, and introduced to sweet Kona she turns around pretty quickly. The author made each of the love interests different in personality.

I picked this book up because I love Capybara. It's not a big part of the story but I still liked that they were unusual shifters instead of the common wolf or even bear. There isn't much interaction with the other shifter people on the island, pretty much just the four main characters.

The narration was good and brought the characters to life.

Fantastical love story

The h is spoiled but a freak storm causes her to get shipwrecked oo an island filled with were-capybaras. She learns what is truly important in her life while falling in love with three very different men.

Island Adventure

Harper Davis is a spoiled, entitled brat who buys a yacht and decides to have a getaway with a full staff, but things didn't go as planned. She treated the staff horribly, and so when the yacht ran into a storm, her crew deserted her and took the lifeboat, leaving her to go down with the ship literally. Harper washed up on what she believed to be a deserted island, but she was wrong it was inhabited by a group of shifters.
The storyline was unique, but the plot was missing something. The story does have adventure, sexy shifters, and sex. I received this book for free upon my request. This is my honest, unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own free will.
