FRANK KANE (The Author of Dead Drunk) was licensed to practice law, the result of his young wife's insistence that he secure a law degree as a safeguard in the event that he failed to earn enough at his typewriter to support them. Kane hurried through a law course, passed his bar examination, and then—having gotten that over with—promptly broke into radio and became one of the highest paid writers in the business, doing scores of scripts for such shows as "Gangbusters," "The Shadow" and "Nick Carter." Later, he became even more successful as the writer of the Johnny Liddell mystery novels, which have sold millions of copies and been translated into a dozen languages.
This short story narrated as an audiobook by Mike Vendetti will not disappoint fans of mysteries and detective stories.
