Intriguing historical mystery

The characters are strong. The history is accurate The plot has unpredictable twists and turns and there is a little romance. I have already started the next book in the series

Plot is believable. Good narration. Great way to start the series. Have already downloaded the second book.

Could not stop listening

This story had me hooked from beginning to end. Had me on edge wanting to know what was going to happen next.

lntriging

A wonderful beginning to the Deadly series. I enjoyed the lead character, Olivia, very much. How she discovers the truth about her murdered husband & proceeds to hunt for his killer was believable. And I loved the narrator. She brought life to the characters. I ordered the second book before I even finished this one!!

Deadly wonderful

This is a great book. I got Deadly Wedding in plus catalog. After listening to deadly Wedding I got Deadly Scandal. Reading the books in order is helpful. I now have all the books. The History of beginning of WW2 in England is very interesting. I thought I knew my history at the time but, I was wrong. You won't be sorry buying this series.

Pretty good

I liked it well enough to get the next one, though I had some difficulty keeping track of all the characters, their titles and roles. The narrator was good. I like female narrators who can get the mood, pacing and tone right, even if they aren’t the best at men’s voices.

Needs better narrator

The story and idea are good, but a narrator with a recurring speech impediment and who is monotone that all the male characters sounded like robocalls🙄….drove me to almost abandon this book and series as a whole!

I had no idea what to expect but really enjoyed this historical mystery!

Thoroughly enjoyed the story and the narrator. Surprisingly good. Rather riveting. Believable characters and dialogues.
