What if she had gone to Stanford University, as her mentor had urged, instead of a small school on the East Coast? Would she have been caught up in the Summer of Love and its subsequent dark turns? trip down memory lane

it started out slow and I almost stopped listening but then the characters came in and shy Ann blossomed. anyone who lived through the sixties will love this book. narration was great with a variety of American accents. Fantastic.

Loved it

I am a fan of Bobby Ann Mason's books and "Dear Ann" does not disappoint. Academia, the sixties, later the Vietnam War, all wrapped around a first love. This is a novel to be savored, not rushed through.
