Resumen del Editor
Bryan Falchuk overcame adversity, lost nearly 100 pounds, ran a marathon, dramatically changed his diet, and created an approach to help others live a better life, every day. That way is Do a Day. Like so many people, Bryan has faced challenges in life, like obesity, depression, work stress, the responsibilities of parenthood, the potential of losing his wife to illness, and more. And he struggled, like anyone else. Through that struggle, Bryan learned the secret to not just overcoming any individual challenge, but creating a life of achievement, happiness, and harmony. In Do a Day, you will learn how to make each day contribute to your goals so you can live the life you want to live - a better life. Do a Day will free you of the burden and judgment of yesterday's choices, while relieving you of the pressure of what tomorrow may bring. By teaching you how to identify your true motivation and how to use that to focus on what you have to do today, Do a Day will help you change your life.

Twenty-six point two miles isn’t enough anymore. Obstacle course racing, which combines the endurance challenges of a marathon with the mind-bending rigors of overcoming obstacles along the way, is taking the world by storm. At the center of this phenomenon is Joe De Sena, the driving force behind the enormously popular Spartan Race. De Sena offers a simple philosophy: commit to a goal, put in the work, and get it done.

What you will find are solid skills to help you actually do the healthy things you know you should be doing. Using these skills - based in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and neuroscience - you’ll learn to find the motivation you’re craving to adopt healthy habits, even if they do suck. You’ll also discover how to accept self-criticism, develop self-compassion, and live a more meaningful life.

Bryan has a great story and an even better approach to life!
The concept of Do A Day is simple, but it is far from commonly practiced. The author goes through his own personal struggles which are easily relatable. Although I haven't struggled with my own weight in the past, there are many other aspects of Bryan's past I can relate to.
The Do A Day approach is a must for each of us individually to get the most out of life.
The book is definitely worth a read (or listen).
