The narrators understood the assignment!!! 10/10

Not forever just for a while 😭😭😭 that line made me cryyyyy! Luca is my absolute no one else compares FAVORITE Fritz and Raven might be my favorite Mrs.

She annoyed me with bringing up whether he was with other women every chapter (although I do understand it) I mostly got annoyed because he kept repeating himself every chapter that he hasn’t been with anyone since her, and two other people confirmed it by chapter 23!

Now onto my actual review —Luca absolutely did the right thing and I pray every wife has a Luca in the husband. The delivery was BRUTAL but for the love of God it had to happen. I’ve lost myself after marriage and kids and I had to sincerely fight tooth and nail to find myself again. As I listened to Part One I literally cried because all I could think is, I wish I had someone there reminding me and pushing me towards the goals I put into the back of my mind. I hate that it broke her heart and the entire time all I could think was “how will he come back from this.”

P.S I need to listen to Kaplans story STAT because Chapter 20 made me love Kaplan instantly.

Too much sex

The story started out really good. I loved how they fell in love. However, this was mostly sex. Both MCs went back and forth. It was fine because the h didn’t give in so easily. But every time they get together, it was all sex. I don’t mind the sex scenes but this was overly done. There was connection but there’s no love making. Like I said, all sex. Not worth credit.

Age gap romance where the guy chases the girl! Incredible audio!

This book is a classic story where the guy falls first and chases after the girl! From the first few books in this series, we have heard all about Luca Fritz and the girl, Raven, whose heart broke years ago. All we know is that he’s still pining over Raven as his siblings always tell him to stop stalking her in the previous books. This book will answer everything and it is such a fantastic journey along the way! It’s an age gap story (11 years), forced proximity, 2nd chance lovers and some enemies to lovers as well! One thing I love about J. Saman’s books is how much she packs into one story making it constantly intriguing and interesting!

Doctor Playboy starts with a Part 1, which is like a long prologue 4 years into the past about how Lucas and Raven met and got together. We also finally learn how he broke her heart in this part. Then comes, Part 2 which brings you back to the present. Luca is right there trying to get his 2nd chance at love with Raven and will do anything for it. There were some frustrating parts in this section of the book that I felt like was just a young girl just wanting to be mad and not listen to the truth but it all came full circle, made sense and was worth it! Push through that part because gets better!

“She built a world of resistance around her heart with the singular purpose of keeping me out. I know it. I can see it all over her. But the fact that I can still sneak through the back door—and no, that’s not a dirty metaphor, at least not yet—and disarm her completely is why I’ll never give up.”

I love love Luca!! He is funny, is such a nerd, loves hard, is all about his family and knows what he wants! His commentary throughout the book made me laugh. The family is in this book a lot and all of his interactions with them are pure gold and were my favorite! On the flip side he feels deep and sometimes his words hit all the feelings too. Also, he is all alpha male…especially when it comes to romance so be prepared for lots of spice in this book too!

Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin might be a new favorite narration duo! I absolutely loved their voices together in this audio! Also, Connor Crais knows how to perform an audio! His voice has such a great tone and he expresses so much feeling that it makes you feel every word on the page! A phenomenal performance by both!

Oh that Luca!

Oh man this story just grabs you from the beginning. From the start of this series, we have always heard about Raven but we don’t officially meet her until thus book. We get to read the backstory between Luca and Raven. Oh man, it was a doozy. My heart felt for both Luca and Raven at the end of part One. Luckily, part two is all how Luca tries his best in winning back Raven. The two definitely have sizzle when they are in close proximity. I also love reading about the other Abbott-Fritz siblings.

One of my faves from the series. Both the twins books surprised me, and I loved them both for different reasons. I’m a huge fan of both Connor and Vanessa and absolutely loved their performance in this together. Can’t wait for Kap’s book!

This story was a little boring to me . do not get me wrong I see the story line , but I think it need a little funny nest in it

She’s a child

Age difference is too close to pedophilia. And he calls her “baby girl”. Yuk. Couldn’t get past chapter 3.
