If his death is ruled an accident, then the double indemnity clause in his life insurance would go into effect, essentially doubling the payout. But as Liz sorts through the legal paperwork of who stands to gain an immense sum of money from Matt’s death, Connor is accused of the unthinkable with much more at stake than millions of dollars.

Great book!

I enjoyed the book so much, I listened to it a second time. There are always little nuggets along the way I missed the first time.

A Bit Slow

This story in my opinion was a bit slow. One always en noted Robert Whitlows books but this one to me anyway had a hard time getting going. There may have been too many characters for the plot. I didn’t care a lot for the narrator.

Awesome story. Great character development, Builds faith

The story held my attention once it got past the layout of the characters. Riveting, informative, faith building.

Sweet!

As a fan of thrillers/mysteries/police procedurals, and often very intense plots, this book/story was still enjoyable. It read/sounded like a Hallmark holiday movie/story, which I occasionally watch.

Great storyline

Robert Whitlow is one of my favorites! I love how he helps lead everything to God!

Different, Varied Plot Lines, I loved it!

This book had it all: legal thriller, small town life, crime, jealousy, faith & food! Lol! I’m glad our book club chose it. Not sure I would have chosen it, but I enjoyed the read, and found myself thinking about it when I wasn’t listening. The Audible version was great!

A wonderful, intriguing, interesting and captivating story. I can highly recommend this book. Nothing is sure until the end.

A really good mystery

I wasn’t sure until the very end “who dunnit” loved the relationships in this book as well. Can’t wait to read another of this author’s books.
