My new favorite author & narrator!
Excellent story, easy to listen to because of the author’s story and the narrator’s voice….and perfect inflections for the different characters. Kudos!

Life is not easy
I listened with hope as the characters dealt with blows to their lives. The characters in the books had problems that build strength as long as you persevere. Personally I would have leaned more to the help of God than the main character did, but in the end it was worth listening to the books.

love this author
not sure why some reviews were negative, especially from those who like Charles Martin.
I really love his work, these stories included.
stories moved fwd well, interesting outcomes, a bit sappy at times but not in a bad way.
narrators : Jonathan Riggs did first one, he's great, 5 star. Adam Vernor did the second, good but not as great as Riggs.

Great story with wonderful characters!
Greatly enjoyed the author as narrator in first book, but the second narrator did not deliver with the same energy.

Narrater was perfect, again!
Please have Jonathan Riggs narrate all of your stories on audible…he’s like Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump.. some people were just born to play part.. he just has to narrate your books otherwise it’s not the same. You are an incredible writer, superbly gifted! I’ve told all my friends and family about you and and now they are purchasing all of your books…unfortunately because of my busy schedule I can only listen on audible but when I hear anyone besides Jonathan Riggs narrate your wonderful stories, it changes the whole vibe. If you have anything to do with the narration please have him do all of your books…. you are amazing!
