This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Enlightening!
This is a serious deep scholarly work infused with passion for the history, Church, and the Bible. Dr Parker brings light to Biblical Studies by helping us better understand the original texts as she translates them (literally!) with skillful interpretation. Her outstanding knowledge of multiple languages makes this book academically significant while personal and family parallelism engages readers throughout the journey. Looking forward to reading her next masterpiece.
